We are now averaging 14-17 knitters and stitchers each week – all working on individual projects. There is a lovely atmosphere of working, learning, chatting and tasting as we enjoy Anne’s homemade cakes/biscuits every week.
Sadly we are going to lose one of our keenest members, Alex (see below left), as she is moving up to Newcastle soon. I will try to keep this updated so that she can see what we are all up to! She is so enthusiastic and has even invented a new stitch – the Alex stitch!
On Sunday (17th) we have another crochet workshop and our Knit a Lace Scarf (Nov 28th) is almost full – only 3 places left. Contact us if you are interested in joining us for it or want to know anything about our group.
